Xaiomi To Launch a New Phone Under Its Sub-Brand "Lanmi"

A few days ago, we heard some rumours that the Chinese manufacturing giant Xiaomi has been working on its sub-brand specifically for the offline consumer market. However, there was no information about the name of the brand and the smartphone which they are working on. According to the new report and some leaks on Chinese social network platform Weibo, the sub-brand is named as "Lanmi" and the phone to be launched is called "Lanmi X1". The source has not confirmed on any particular launch date for the same.

The Lanmi X1 is supposed to be launched in two variants i.e the regular Lanmi X1 and a pro or plus version of it. And not just that, it has also been reported that each of these variants will be further available in four different RAM and storage configurations i.e. 4GB/ 64GB, 4GB/ 128GB, 6GB/ 64GB & lastly 6GB/ 128GB. The phone is also supposed to come with dual rear camera setup equipped with dual tone LED flash.

There is not much information available about the internals of the phone. It is yet to be seen if this will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC or if the company have some in-house SoC solution for the same.
